Frequently Asked Questions (updated April 2026)
Because not everything can be inferred.
Orders and Production
How long does it take to receive my order?
Most items are made after you place your order. Production typically takes a few days, followed by shipping. In total, expect around 1 to 2 weeks.
Why is my item made after I order it?
This is a print on demand shop. Items are produced specifically for you, which helps reduce waste and allows for a wider range of designs without relying on bulk inventory.
Where are items made and shipped from?
Items are produced by trusted partners in the United States and internationally, depending on the product and delivery location.
Products and Quality
What materials are used?
Materials vary by product, but each item is selected for comfort, durability, and everyday use. Product pages include specific details.
Will the design last?
Yes. Designs are printed using modern methods intended to hold up through regular wear and washing.
Do colors look exactly like the photos?
Colors will be very close, but slight variations can occur due to differences in screens and lighting.
Returns and Issues
Can I return or exchange items?
Because items are made to order, returns are not accepted for sizing or preference. If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, it will be replaced.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Contact us with details and photos if needed. Issues are handled quickly and directly.
About the Shop
What is Epileptic AL?
It is a shop built on three pillars:
- Cats. Observational, slightly judgmental, and always right
- Brains. Epilepsy awareness grounded in lived experience
- Bureaucracy. Official language translated into reality
Why “bureaucracy” instead of “politics”?
The shift was made in April 2026. Politics felt tied to headlines. Bureaucracy reflects the system underneath, where process and outcomes actually take shape.
Is this a political shop?
No. It is a commentary shop focused on patterns, tone, and process. The designs do not tell you what to think. They reflect what is already there.
About Al
Who is Al?
Al was a white cat who lived with epilepsy. He was expressive, stubborn, and fully himself. He inspired many of the designs and the direction of the shop.
Why epilepsy awareness?
Because it matters. Because it is often misunderstood. And because awareness can be present without being overwhelming.
Final Question
Is this supposed to be funny or serious?
Both.
Closing Note
Everything here is observed, processed, and created with intention.
